Whilst this was a significantly larger vehicle, I’m glad I got to drive that in the week I was in Byron/ Ballina as it was pouring down that entire weekend. I took many pictures of my vehicle prior to leaving the airport and pictures of the same thing before I dropped it off just to make sure everything was all good but no dramas at all in this case. My deposit was deposited back into my credit card within 2 days. Will definitely continue doing business with Thrifty again.

Although book through the website and said booking is accepted but it turns up it takes about an hour to send the booking to the brach and there is no car available when I arrived. Have to wait for 1.5 hrs for someone to return the car. System need to be updated promptly

Wasn't comfortable driving such a large vehicle and they replaced it with another SUV - a Hyundai which was smaller. Felt more comfortable driving this and the service was friendly, helpful and courteous.

Every other rental company had someone on the desk and everyone who booked thier cars with avis, budget and europcar got thier keys and where away. Thrifty staff turned up 20 mins late and had obviously slept in. Book with someone else
