  went in a couple of weeks ago looking for a helmet. The lady said next door at the bike shop is the best place to get them. I then realised she had sup boards for sale. I Became very excited to see they had the stand up paddle boards for sale with a good price on a complete package deal. No other customers in the shop. I am down the back of the shop looking at the boards and was clearly excited. The lady did not move from behind the counter to see if she could help. Not until I asked her a question did she come down the back. As I am talking to her she constantly turned her head to look at the front of the shop. She was not interested at all in serving me. It was almost closing time. I asked her a question about the difference in the boards and she did not know the answer to my question. A couple came in and was looking for hats. She left me to serve them. They asked about wide brim hats with chin straps, she said to go to the chemist. I looked over to the display shelves and could see the hats they were looking for on display. I was so close to pulling my credit card out and buying a board worth $1100. But she was not interested in selling to me at all. It would not have taken much for her to have sold it to me. If she know about the items she had in her shop and took the time to sell, then I would have bought. Instead I walked out and went to another place and bought my board. And she owns the business with her husband. If you want bad service then come to Ballina.

  Been a customer of Jeffs for a lifetime. Best surf shop in Ballina. Honest, good prices, great with kids too!

  The owner here is SO NICE!
  (I Think he is the owner?!?)
  I have been in a few times and he is always there, really friendly, really helpful, knows his stock and stuff! I have bought several items on several occasions and even my husband enjoys going in and shopping here! There's no pressure, its relaxed, and has heaps of really good items and really reasonably priced!!!

  Best surf shop in town. Fantastic service. Not pushy at all. Prices are more than fair. Highly recommended. Local knowledge on the surf spots awesome. Also do paddle board hire with a pick up and drop off service. Keep up the great work.
